Santerno offers a whole range of sinusoidal filters to be installed between the inverter and the connected load. The ever increasing demand for pure sinusoidal voltage on the motor side to suppress the stress due to high-frequency commutations of the IGBTs on the motor windings has led Santerno to develop a whole range of sinusoidal filters for the applications requiring the motor to be preserved (e.g. submersible pumps). Sinusoidal filters also suit the applications where the load is not a motor, but a transformer, as for SINUS PENTA MV, operating with a step down-step up transformer.
